The Coat of Arms features Australia flora and fauna including Waratahs, Eucalyptus and the Powerful Owl, as well as representations of the several medals awarded to Sir Harry Gibbs. With four Coat of Arms (colour) on the top, left to right: Companion of the Order of Australia, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George, and Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Tenax Propositi means "Steadfast in Purpose".
